The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is the perfect course for the wine enthusiast, someone looking to get into the hospitality industry / wine trade or someone who just wants to be able to show off a little bit at a dinner party by choosing a great quality wine!

Regardless of which you are, this course is perfect for you. We are able to offer WSET Level 1 Award in Wines either as a 1-day classroom based course or via online learning.

• The different production techniques in winemaking

• The types and styles of wine

• The principle international grape varieties and the typical wines they produce

• Storage and service of wine, including how to recognise common wine faults
